How I hear it

Have you ever found yourself raising your voice in a restaurant just to be heard by the people at your own table while at the same time being distracted by a different conversation across the room?

How about a wedding where the music hurts your ears? It isn’t that you don’t want to dance, but being out on the dance floor is painful. The DJ is behind the speakers with headphones and doesn’t understand why only a few people want to dance, so he turns the volume up even more without addressing that harsh frequency making you want to leave!

I want to talk acoustics and make your life better by understanding and shaping the sounds you do and don't hear. That is to say, our ears are extremely important to us on a daily basis, yet very few people understand how to protect their ears or how to improve communication through the science of acoustics!
